Birmingham Tech Week starts tomorrow, and we can’t wait! Here’s a quick rundown of what to expect from this amazing week of tech.

Expect to Learn

Birmingham Tech Week is all about sharing knowledge. Get your notebooks and pens ready because we’ve got an incredible list of speakers lined up who are experts at what they do. Throughout the week you can expect to learn about so much. From upcoming tech trends to look out for and how your business can make the most of them, to how a specific business has leveraged tech and made a difference.

Although you might work in a certain area of the tech world, we urge you to sign up for any event that you are interested in. If you go to an event about a topic you know nothing about you’ll discover a new area of the tech space, and you’ll definitely learn something new!

Expect to Network

If 2020 has taught us anything it’s that it is possible to do pretty much everything online. Although tech week is virtual, it doesn’t mean networking is off the cards. Our opening and closing events are a great opportunity to meet the Tech Week team and some of our amazing partners, and many of our sessions throughout the week will have the opportunity for Q&As. Birmingham Tech Week is built on coming together and collaborating, and this year is no different in that sense.

Expect to be Inspired

It’s hard to look at the range of events and speakers and not be inspired!

There are over 90 sessions running this tech week. Each one is being led by people who are successful within the West Midlands tech space. Whether you are a seasoned tech professional or are just starting out on your tech journey, you’ll hear stories of success, struggle and people making a difference that will inspire you in whatever you do. We’ve even got the one and only Mr Motivator leading a mid-week workout to inspire you to get moving!

We can’t wait for tech week to get underway. If you still haven’t signed up for events, you can do here.
