1. Introduction These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your registration and participation in Birmingham Tech Week (“Event”), organised by TechWM (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By registering for the Event, you agree to comply with these Terms.
2. Registration
- To register for the Event, you must complete the registration form and provide accurate and complete information.
- Registration is subject to acceptance by us, and we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any registration at our discretion.
3. Payment
- If there is a fee for attending the Event, payment must be made in full at the time of registration.
- All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.
4. Participation
- Your registration entitles you to attend the Event and participate in the activities as specified in the Event program.
- You must comply with all instructions and guidelines issued by us during the Event.
5. Data Protection
- By registering for the Event, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data.
- If you do not want your data shared with sponsors, you can opt-out during the registration process or by contacting us at [email protected].
6. Code of Conduct
- We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. You must not engage in any behaviour that is discriminatory, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate.
- We reserve the right to remove any participant from the Event if they violate this code of conduct.
7. Limitation of Liability
- We are not liable for any loss or damage suffered by you in connection with the Event, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
- Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or in connection with the Event is limited to the amount of the registration fee paid by you.
8. Changes to the Event
- We reserve the right to make changes to the Event program, dates, or venue if necessary. We will notify you of any changes as soon as possible.
9. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The West Midlands. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of The West Midlands.
